Work environments are undergoing massive change through digitalization, automation, and internationalization. The visions driving the future of work swing between a polarized workforce where low-skilled workers are without a job to a vision of a work-life balance where employees have 30-hour weeks and carry out a majority of their work remotely. Especially digitalization can support efforts to make employment and career opportunities more equal, however, this doesn’t happen by itself. Remote leadership, digital transformation processes, and the implementation of alternative working concepts must be considered from a gender-specific perspective if they are to be effective in creating more equality in all areas of paid and unpaid work.
Yarrow Global Consulting supports projects in which the concept of gender in the workplace, in teams and in organizations, is the point of departure for a critical analysis of set roles, pay disparity, and shared responsibility.
